PART TIME STUDENTS

1) Admissions, registrations and selection criteria

 

  • Admissions and registration of part-time students will be done concurrently with the full time students at the campus levels and beginning of the academic cycle, trimesters and semesters.
  • The facilitation of admissions and registration will be the responsibility of part-time staff at the campuses offering part-time.
  • During registration, students will fill in application form and list all subjects to be registered in part-time.
  • Part-time programme is not a funded programme by Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), therefore students have a responsibility to pay the full amount of the modules/subjects registered for at the college account.

 2) Who qualifies for part-time studies?

 
        Part-time status may be granted  under the following circumstances:-

  • A student who has completed at least one full time trimester, semester and could not obtain all the modules may be registered for part-time.
  • Any interested applicant/employee Report 191 student may be registered for part-time for a minimum of one subject and maximum of three modules/subjects.
  • Students who cannot be registered in full time stream should be registered on part-time basis.
  • People who are working should be registered to further their studies.
